Linear route of 18 km through the heart of the Ebro Delta that connects Deltebre with Camarles, passing through the agricultural environment of L'Aldea. The route, completely flat, runs along rural paths and local roads surrounded by rice fields, irrigation canals and wide open perspectives.

From the center of Deltebre, the route goes into the interior of the Delta crossing an orderly landscape of fields and ditches until reaching Camarles, combining quiet stretches of nature with the passage through the outskirts of urban centers. It is an ideal itinerary for relaxed cycling, perfect for discovering the agricultural and fluvial essence of the territory.

Heritage complex originally formed by the 16-meter rectangular medieval watchtower. The annexed chapel was built in the 19th century.

Tips

You are entering a natural area shared with an agricultural community. Learn about the values of the area at the Park’s information centers: the Ecomuseum (tel. 977 489 679) and the Casa de Fusta (tel. 667 001 382).
You must wear a helmet and bring sufficient food and water. Carry a mobile phone and save battery; in case of emergency, call 112. Depending on the season, it is advisable to bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
The terrain is completely flat, but be aware of the winds that are common in the area.

Camarles

Camarles, situat al cor del Delta de l’Ebre, és un municipi tranquil envoltat de camps d’arròs i canals que formen un paisatge únic i característic de la zona.
